thanks. Most of the shots are with a Canon 1D MarkII and Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS with a B+W circular polarizer. There are a few shots with a Canon 20D and Canon 16-35 f/2.8L (B+W slim circular polarizer). If you're looking for a good P&S camera, the Canon S3, S4, S5 IS are worth looking at. They aren't compact but they are capable of capturing fairly good still photos, but, like most point and shoot cameras, there will limitations when compared to an SLR. High ISO image quality won't be as good, inferior autofocus system, more shutter lag, poor on-board flash, etc. but for $300-400 USD, these are more than enough for most people.
